This weekend, we took a little adventure to Honney Doffee, a family-owned dog café in National City, and it did notdisappoint. From the cozy vibe to the dog-themed decor, this spot is pure joy for pups and their humans.
🐶 Tarzan & Cora’s Café Experience
Right when we walked in, the owner personally greeted us with a warm smile and quickly brought out fresh water for the pups—a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the visit. Cora definitely took full advantage of the complimentary water, while Tarzan made himself right at home on the green velvet couch like the café king he is. Cora found her happy place on the swing chair, which added a fun and playful vibe to the space.
🦴 Treats for the Pups
The dog treat menu is full of tasty surprises, and the best part? All the treats are made from all-natural ingredients, so you can feel good about spoiling your pup. Both Tarzan and Cora enjoyed cookies and an apple muffin, fresh and wholesome treats made with love for our four-legged family members.

My daughter tried the Nutella latte, which was deliciously rich—and get this—the ice cubes were shaped like dog paws! How cute is that?
🐾 All About the Vibes
This café is a full-on love letter to dogs. The walls are covered in paw prints, dog-themed artwork, and even framed photographs of the owners’ own dogs, which gives it such a personal and heartwarming touch. It’s super Instagram-friendly, but more importantly, it’s welcoming, cozy, and full of charm. The staff was kind, helpful, and clearly passionate about creating a space where dogs and their humans feel right at home.
