We can’t believe our little Coraline turned 1 this past February! Since we adopted her in June, she’s filled our days with love, laughter, and plenty of mischief. Her first birthday deserved a little adventure, so we took her out to celebrate in style.
Our destination? North Park’s Pigment, where the bright pink wall made the perfect backdrop for her birthday photos. The sunlight hit the wall just right, making Coraline’s fluffy coat glow, and even with people walking by, we managed to capture her adorable smile. You could see her excitement in every wag of her tail and perk of her ears.
Coraline celebrated in style with a donut Minnie ears dupe birthday headband from Petco—she looked extra festive and totally stole the show. And with her long legs and paws, she even “pets us back” when we give her belly rubs, making the cuddles extra sweet and funny. Between sniffing everything in sight, taking in the colorful street vibes, and enjoying a few special treats, she had the perfect first birthday outing.
Watching her grow over the past months—from the shy little pup we adopted to the playful, confident, and loving companion she is today—has been such a joy. Her personality shines brighter every day, and moments like these make us so grateful for every belly rub, sloppy kiss, and happy wiggle.
